The University of Maryland College Park undertook a comprehensive project across multiple sites, including the Traville Parking Garage, the Shady Grove Parking Garage, Building I, and Building IV BSE Education Facility, as part of its commitment to UMD's programs to conserve energy, reduce emissions, and explore innovative technologies. The project included installing canopy lighting to enhance garage illumination, and bird mitigation measures, including audible speakers.
