Meet Jae Kim, MEI's E-Mobility Summer Associate
MEI is excited to welcome Jae Kim as our Summer Associate focused on E-Mobility! After specializing in the energy sector for about five years and working on a few interesting clean energy projects including South Korea’s first floating offshore wind project, Jae decided to pursue his MBA degree with aspirations of focusing his career in clean energy investment.
Jae is an MBA candidate at Yale School of Management, and prior to working on his MBA, he worked at the Export-Import Bank of Korea, a stated-owned financial institution in South Korea. His experiences with the bank include corporate credit evaluation, underwriting corporate loans for companies in energy infrastructure sector in South Korea, and underwriting project finance loans for power plant projects in Southeast Asia.
"I am grateful to join MEI, an amazing team with entrepreneurial spirit driving exponential growth, to work on the new e-mobility initiative for the summer. With strong momentum of EV transition and vast amount of support by the public sector, it is a very exciting time to be working on fleet electrification," Jae said. "I am happy to be part of a team challenging itself to be one of the first movers in the market, and I look forward to helping MEI build a solid base to be successful in the coming years.”Join us in welcoming Jae to the team!
