A Word from our Summer Interns
We interviewed our interns to hear more about their experience with MEI this summer. Hopefully they've enjoyed their time with MEI as much as we've enjoyed having them!
"Working at MEI has given me an opportunity to learn about the solar industry and learn how to guide the world towards a sustainable future. The people I worked with were kind, welcoming, and driven in their passion of renewables. This internship gave me an experience I will not forget and skills I will use forever." - Colin Cunningham
"Interning at MEI was such a fulfilling and unforgettable experience. Mostly working on the Asset Management team, I was able to see daily procedures when it comes to production. Beyond asset management, I learned about the business side of the company and how complicated yet exciting it was. Visiting a site was so interesting because I was able to see how everything we learned in class and in the office all comes together. MEI has a drive and optimism and I'm excited to see how much they'll grow!" - Marco Chua
"As an intern at MEI, I was able to implement what I had learned about renewable energy sources and business development in the classroom setting and understand the mechanics of the industry through hands-on experiences. I mostly worked with the financial and legal teams which gave me the opportunity to develop relevant, practical skills that I will use in the field. It was a great experience to work with the Tyson’s team and I look forward to seeing what comes next for the company!" - Bailey Pons
"Through this internship, I was able to expand my knowledge of the solar industry through the projects and experiences I've had at Madison. From site visits to data reporting, I learned the processes that go into managing solar sites as well as business topics that I would otherwise not learn in school. This opportunity was well worth the challenge, and I am confident that the skills that I developed here will directly contribute to my future success." - Jace Taylor
