Cindy Gordon is the Chief People Officer at Madison Energy Infrastructure, responsible for building and leading the company’s people function across talent, performance, total rewards, and culture. As Madison’s first CPO, Cindy is focused on building scalable people systems and practices that empower employees to perform at their best.

Cindy brings over two decades of experience in the people function. Prior to joining Madison, she ran her own consulting practice advising startups navigating growth and transformation. She previously served as Chief People Officer at Policygenius and Head of People at Oscar Health. Earlier in her career, she held a range of people-focused roles at McKinsey & Company, where she helped shape and support talent and organizational initiatives. She blends deep operational expertise with a human-centered approach to leadership and culture.

Based in New York City, Cindy enjoys world travel, staying active, and spending time with her senior Yorkie-Poo, Bert — with the occasional detour in search of the world’s best chocolate chip cookie.
