Blair Marsteller is Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel of Madison Energy Infrastructure. He is the head of the legal department, with responsibility for the legal and commercial affairs of the company. Blair also oversees the legal affairs of Accel-Dev LLC, an accelerator of clean energy infrastructure development backed by Madison. Blair has served as General Counsel since he joined Madison in March of 2022.

Blair joined Madison from Vinson & Elkins LLP where he represented banks and financial institutions, developers and private equity funds in complex domestic and cross-border finance transactions, including project finance and development, general syndicated finance, acquisition finance and asset-based facilities in a wide array of sectors, such as renewables, oil and gas, infrastructure, power generation and transmission. He also counseled clients in offerings of debt and equity securities. Prior to V&E, Blair spent time at Fortress Investment Group LLC helping to grow New Fortress Energy, focusing on developing and operating infrastructure and transportation assets within the natural gas industry, as well as Latham & Watkins LLP, where he was a project finance and mergers and acquisitions associate representing developers of natural gas and renewable energy infrastructure in financings and acquisitions.

Blair received both his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia (School of Law and College of Arts & Sciences, respectively) and is a member of the New York and D.C. bars.
